After Becoming the Heavenly Dao, I Got a Happy Ending with Kikyo

With only embers left in her, she burned away the last of her longing to win the other a chance to return. Their fates were like crossing strings: one ran toward life only to meet death, while the other sought life by embracing death. Through endless pursuit and missed chances, they wrote a story of eternal loneliness.

Until Kikyo made a choice unlike any she had made before. She stopped trying to purify or possess the Shikon Jewel. Instead, she shared most of the power she had lived alongside for a century, bound to the jewel, along with the very foundation of her existence. It was a desperate gamble, using her life to reshape their bodies and souls, all to carve a path where they could walk side by side through a fate that had seemed certain to destroy them.

From then on, the curse’s golden cracks became a crest that bound them together. They shared their karmic burdens and the flow of their spiritual power, redefining “protection” and “strength” amid the world’s endless malice and trials. From the turmoil of the Warring States period to the demons lurking in people’s hearts, from the Shikon Jewel’s ultimate secrets to the cold boundaries of the world’s laws, everything was weighed anew in their clasped hands.

At last, in a rite where one used her remaining spiritual power as a stairway and the other pledged her newly reborn soul, even the will of Heaven made way for their defiance of fate and their shared existence.

[Hello! My writing, content, timeline, and other aspects are certainly imperfect. I’ve also made up a lot of details for this book, and the heroine is an overpowered, top-tier powerhouse in every way. So I hope you’ll kindly make all the unreasonable parts seem reasonable as you read. If you enjoy it, please show your support. If you don’t, just leave; let’s part on good terms. Please don’t leave nasty comments that upset me and ruin your own mood, too. Thank you.]
