Eighty-year-old Su Nianxia trembled with her fingers and gently touched the name on the tombstone that never grew old - Lu Yuanhang. She opened the diary that had been with her for sixty years, and a high school graduation photo fell out from the yellowed pages. On the back of the photo was written: "I want to be your stardust and never burn out."
In the summer of 2003, transfer student Lu Yuanhang knocked over Su Nianxia's drawing board and also crashed into her life. He is a genius boy in the science class, but he always likes to sneak into the art classroom to watch her paint; she dreams of becoming a painter, but secretly applies for medical school because of his saying, "I want to develop a cure for rare diseases."
They made an agreement: she would paint all the beauty in the world, and he would save lives and heal the wounded. But fate showed its fangs on the eve of graduation - when the out-of-control truck rushed towards Su Nianxia who was crossing the road, Lu Yuanhang pushed her away with all his strength. When he was dying, he put the blood-stained research notes into her hands, and said the last words with trembling lips: "Live on... See the future for me..."
From then on, Su Nianxia never picked up a paintbrush again. It took her ten years to transform from a medical student to a CEO of a biotechnology company, completing Lu Yuanhang's unfinished research. On the day "Yuanhang Medical" was successfully launched, she came to the tomb alone and placed the first new anti-cancer drug in front of the monument: "You see, we have changed the future."
Now, with gray hair, she leaned against the cold tombstone and closed her diary for the last time. In the haziness, she seemed to see the seventeen-year-old boy stretching out his hand to her under the cherry blossom tree: "Nian Xia, this time I will take you to see the starry sky."
