During the final battle to purge the rebel Ao Nan, Ao Lie, the Dragon King of the Western Sea, was swallowed by a sudden spatial rift. He fell from the familiar demon realm of Huaxia into the Marvel Universe, which was under invasion by the Chitauri Army.
