In this dazzling kingdom of magic, I’m a nobody who can’t even get near the academy gates.
Then, for the sake of a piece of bread, I take a filthy job: “disposing of abandoned elves.”
Deep in a mine, I find it: a Luo Yin, tortured by black magic to the brink of death, with nothing left in its eyes but madness and hatred.
They tell me to kill it and take out its core.
Instead, I smash its shackles and save it with the last of my healing medicine.
And so, in the abyss, this monster from the darkness and I forge the kingdom’s most forbidden contract.
Now the geniuses of the Magic Academy see me as a fallen soul, while the hyenas of the black market want to skin me alive.
All I want is to take my Luo Yin and survive in this dog-eat-dog world…
