His Majesty Courts the Neighboring Kingdom's Young General Every Day to Save His Country

[Seductive, unhinged, theatrical, sickly beauty of an emperor who acts pathetic × cold-faced, secretly adorable genius Gu-bred, put-upon young general] [Two male leads + equally powerful + one-on-one romance + both each other's first + sweet romance]

Beiling's treasury is empty, plague is rampant, and powerful clans control the court. Emperor Xiao Luochuan has the throne in name, but can't even keep himself alive.

To find Beiling a way out, he goes undercover in Nanli. But his old illness flares up at the border, and patrolling soldiers find him and bring him back to their camp.

The one who saves him is Nanli's youngest general, Qi Heng.

Qi Heng commands troops, comes from a wealthy family, and has a cold expression but a softer heart than anyone. Xiao Luochuan makes up his mind at once: Rather than beg Nanli's court, he'd do better to win this young general over first.
