A dazzling Shanghai artist x a calculating power player from Hong Kong! An intense romance spanning two cities, with a delicious mix of sweetness and angst!
Shanghai heiress Shen Zhiyi brings roses to life with her paintbrush, stealing the show at an art exhibition, then accidentally splashes a powerful tycoon with red wine at a Hong Kong summit. Who knew that splash would land right on Lu Tingzhou's heart!
He's a business emperor no one in Hong Kong dares cross, ruthless in his methods and icy in presence, yet he loses all composure for her alone: he searches the world for rare, out-of-print pigments, gives her a studio of her own, and shields her from every rumor. She's a passionate, free-spirited artist whose light-filled paintings melt the heart he's kept frozen for years. From the plane trees of Shanghai to the neon lights of Victoria Harbour, from the warm glow of her studio to the power plays of business summits, they both fall deeper amid their differences and mutual testing.
When a fiery rose collides with an iceberg CEO, when artistic ideals meet a business empire, this chance encounter hides the most passionate devotion and protection. Nothing can stop them: not gossip, distance, or differences in social circles. "My girl is mine to protect."
Mutual devotion + over-the-top doting + a romance spanning two cities. Watch the splendor of Shanghai meet Hong Kong romance, and spark an unwavering love like no other!
