The Heart-Mind Sword and the Dao’s Destiny

A thousand years ago, a mortal-born female immortal ascended through a stroke of fortune. With the Heart Sword of Obsession, she struck down demons and evil spirits, then vanished without a trace, leaving behind only an ancient sword to await the one worthy of inheriting her legacy.

A thousand years later, the young Ruan Qing unexpectedly inherits her divine mantle, but others covet it. Her memories of the divine mantle are forcibly sealed, and those she holds dear are put in danger.

Born a mortal, she comes to understand the fated bond between herself and the Heart Sword of Obsession as fortune and responsibility collide. To protect those she cares about, recover her lost memories, and carry on the female immortal’s unfinished path, she resolves to break free of the constraints of her divine mantle. Following the sword’s lingering Dao resonance, she sets out on her own path to godhood.
