After Awakening, the Gold Digger Stops Stealing Men and Goes After Their Money

I awakened. It turns out I'm the villainous female side character in a sweet romance novel: vain, materialistic, and a scheming green tea. My only purpose is to fight the heroine for the male lead, then get rejected by him, face-slapped by her, and finally written out in disgrace. But the problem is, I got close to the male lead in the first place because I saw his potential and ambition. Now that I know where his money comes from, why should I go to all the trouble of fighting him for it? I want his first pot of gold, his path to success, and the plot of land that will double in value in the future. Everyone else thinks the old factory district in the west of the city is run-down and worthless. I pawn my jewelry, sell my luxury goods, and scrape together every penny I can to snap it up first, then turn the wasteland into a storage complex serving local communities. Everyone thinks I'm doing it out of spite. Only Pei Yan knows: I'm not fighting over a man. I'm fighting for his future. Later, the neglected land in the west of the city becomes an essential hub that the whole city can't do without. And that man, always so high and mighty and clever at scheming, stands in front of the service center I've just negotiated and asks quietly: “Xia Wanqing, do you still want to fight me for everything?” I smile at him. “No. Now I want you to join my game.”
