The Underworld Is on the Move

“In the world of the living, I got laid off. In the underworld, I have a government job. This world really has turned upside down.”

· “I’m scared of ghosts, but ghosts are scared of poor ghosts. And right now, I’m poorer than any ghost.”

· “Every ghost has something left unfinished, just like every programmer has their own bugs. The difference is, bugs can be fixed, but the human heart can’t.”

Jiang Che, an unemployed programmer at the lowest point in his life, receives a mysterious phone call and becomes a contracted driver for the “Underworld Chauffeur” platform. His customers aren’t the living, but all kinds of ghosts stranded in the world of the living. As long as they can pay in “Virtue Coins,” he’ll drive them to fulfill their final wishes.

From then on, the back seat of Jiang Che’s Maybach, assigned to him by the underworld, has held a middle-aged ghost lamenting the burden of his mortgage, a vengeful spirit in a hurry to get back to the college entrance exam, a kindly old ghost hoping to see his grandson one last time, and even King Yama, down for an inspection…

Then a greater secret comes to light: in his previous life, Jiang Che was the only judge in the underworld ever to resign of his own accord.
