The consciousnesses of the little worlds have fallen asleep, and the characters they had set up have disappeared. The consciousness of a world belonging to a super-senior sent its people to help... The idea is simply to help, and as long as someone bearing the name of a missing character is there at the point where that character disappears, that’s good enough.
As everyone knows, cosplayers can transmigrate at anime conventions, but who said the entire convention would go with them?
The cosplayers transmigrated, the special guests transmigrated, the hosts transmigrated, and the vendors transmigrated. Oh, a few people are still here. The camera operators didn’t transmigrate. Why did some of the visitors transmigrate too?! And why have most of the little animals from the petting zoo disappeared as well?!
That day, a certain organizer stared at the convention grounds, where fewer than one in ten people remained, and promptly broke down... “Don’t break down yet. They’ll come back.” A comforting voice from above.
A short fan story that feels like it should be seen on an old Ford instead of a tomato.
