Immortal Lin Shou tried to disguise himself as an ordinary citizen in the modern city, and met Ye Xiaoman, a rookie commissioner of the "Office of Abnormal Affairs Management and Stability Maintenance", referred to as the "Office of Abnormal Affairs Stability", the political guardian of his "Novice Village". Ye Xiaoman's mission is to keep an eye on this "walking living history" and deal with his daily breakdowns such as "I just want to eat noodles quietly, but the noodle shop owner is a descendant of the Jinyiwei of the Ming Dynasty and insists on recognizing his ancestors and returning to his clan." Lin Shou wants to live a peaceful life, but history always comes to him.
The resurgence of spiritual energy leads to existences from other dimensions. Rules collide and small-scale invasions begin. The guardians fight with bureaucracy and paperwork. Lin Shou seeks true retirement, resolves the last "historical issues" and sublimates his relationship with the guardians.

It's very interesting. A traveler in history inadvertently shows his ripples under the modern lake. The writing feels very interesting.
