The Last Guide in the World

At three in the morning, Wen Lan's collider experiment accidentally opens a door. A blood-soaked boy falls out and calls Wen Lan “Grandmother.”

He says he comes from a scorched wasteland fifty years in the future.

He says that in two months, Wen Lan will be forced to bond with Cang Yu, the legendary, cold-blooded commander of the First Sentinel Corps.

Five years later, Wen Lan and Cang Yu will have a daughter.

Seven years later, Wen Lan will invent a revolutionary time machine.

And then it will be stolen. Plunder, war, and the apocalypse will follow one after another. Fifty years from now, the world will be reduced to ashes.

And the source of all these disasters is none other than Wen Lan herself.

Alarms wail as a time rift roars behind her. Wen Lan looks at the monitor, where footage of an emergency military response team is playing. The man at its head wears the cold insignia of his rank. It is that very commander.

Wen Lan knows that the fate awaiting her two months from now has come knocking early.

This time, Wen Lan chooses to take up arms and fight for a future that has yet to be born.
