A global live broadcast of national fortune suddenly descends. The countries of Earth are forcibly bound to the “Battlefield of the Heavens,” where the contestants' wins and losses directly affect their nations' fortunes. Defeat means barren lands and devastated populations.
The “Sowers” select the first round of contestants. As they enter other worlds and struggle to survive, viewers back home watch with bated breath. Only the Great Xia livestream is bizarre beyond belief: its contestant, Lin Yuan, is something else entirely.
While contestants from other countries are still struggling to explore, Lin Yuan already commands the Banner of Ten Thousand Souls in his left hand and lays out the Blood Demon Heaven-Destroying Array with his right. His demonic aura soars, striking fear into countless races.
The global audience falls silent. The internet erupts: Is this really a normal contestant?
Even more outrageous, he can manifest the Banner of Ten Thousand Souls in reality at ten thousand times its size, protecting Great Xia. The entire country goes wild with excitement. When foreign invaders arrive and curiously ask a kindly old woman holding a black banner, “Why is your flag giving off black smoke?”
The old woman beckons with a warm smile. “This is the Human Emperor's Banner. Enter it and you'll live forever. Fate has brought you to me, so let this old woman grant you a great blessing.”
Before she can finish, ten thousand souls roar, and the invaders are swallowed whole. Only then do countries around the world realize: Great Xia isn't competing at all. They've sent out a demon god who can suppress all the worlds!
It's okay, it's just that the protagonist is not a demon, like Zhengdao, and it can be understood that he was pulled into the game after just traveling through the past.
Not bad and smooth
