Grand Plans and Utter Chaos in a Small Town

Animals in the Jiangnan-like countryside of Longshang are up to all kinds of antics: pandas beating people up, monkeys stealing corn, a giant snake coiling around a rabbit, and Peppa turning over the fields. The laughs never stop!

A village chief with low blood sugar gets caught in a tangled love quadrangle involving a wealthy businessman, a reporter, and his legal wife.

They clear land and grow mushrooms, then build roads and logistics networks. A century’s worth of mountain floods destroys their industry, while shifting fortunes, natural disasters, and human calamities strike one after another.

The businessman’s story ends with a terminal illness. After many twists and turns, everyone finds a place to call home. National treasures watch over the mountains, and the countryside finally begins a new chapter.
