On the first day of the first lunar month in the seventeenth year of Chongzhen (1644), there were only 1,840 days left before the Dashun Army conquered Beijing. This was a vacuum period in which the old order collapsed and the new order had not yet been established. The Ming Dynasty was like a huge ship riddled with holes, crumbling in the double storm of Li Zicheng and Huang Taiji. The protagonist is not an omniscient and omnipotent "god", but a "tinker" looking for a glimmer of light in despair.
