Two Leads Across Different Eras
Ancient timeline, Yue Fei: Born into the past with memories of another life, she is a baby girl whom her four brothers disguise as a boy from birth. From then on, she lives as “Yue Fei.” Her eldest brother starves to death, her second brother freezes to death, and her third brother is kidnapped and disappears. Later, her fourth brother falls off a cliff and is gravely injured. As he lies on the verge of death, a Pinduoduo package arrives, connecting him with Yue Feifei, who lives 900 years in the future. He decides to live his whole life as a man, not as a disguise, but as who he becomes.
Modern timeline, Yue Feifei: At 28, she’s a burned-out office worker. During a battle over negative reviews on Pinduoduo, she accidentally puts on a ring and forms a cross-temporal connection with Yue Fei, becoming his “strategist, quartermaster, and intelligence bureau.”
