This book is war literature. Unlike "The White Olive Tree", this book has two male protagonists, one is a doctor and the other is a soldier.
They fell in love in the battlefield, and they will eventually die in the battlefield (should, probably, maybe). Their love for each other is a kind of love that lasts for a long time.
Sometimes it seems to be repetitive, but overall it's good.
