Ling Qing is a tasker for the Space-Time Administration, and a thoroughly unlucky one at that.
Every assignment he gets is difficult, yet the rewards are mediocre.
He should have been able to reach max level with ease and retire in comfort, but his terrible luck seriously held back his progress.
Even so, all his skills reached the pinnacle.
After working diligently for so long, he finally managed to reach max level and retire.
But on the way to his retirement destination, he was caught in a space-time turbulence and transmigrated to an alternate ancient world.
When he opened his eyes again, he had become the legitimate eldest son of the Marquis of Wuwei. He wasn’t favored, though, and lived a miserable life.
His birth mother died in childbirth while delivering his younger brother, and his father soon made the powerful family’s Second Concubine the principal wife.
At eighteen, he was ordered to marry the deposed Crown Prince in place of his younger sister.
Threatened with his younger brother’s safety, he could only agree, full of resentment.
But he made one demand: his younger brother had to go with him to the Prince of Xian’s estate.
His stepmother happily agreed. Getting rid of two of them at once was more than she could ask for.
On the eve of the wedding, his stepmother forced him to drink a large amount of a soporific drug, sending the original owner off for good.
That was when Ling Qing transmigrated into his body. He was carried into the bridal sedan and jostled all the way to the Prince of Xian’s estate.
There was no festive wedding atmosphere at the Prince of Xian’s estate.
Qi Yan and his mother had both been driven out of the palace, and he wasn’t even allowed to attend court.
He had never cared about this marriage in the first place.
His mother had also been depressed ever since her family was implicated and exiled. No one had the heart to arrange a wedding.
But no one expected that the greatest bringer of good fortune was about to enter their lives. After the unlucky Ling Qing met his destined person, Qi Yan, his luck began to soar.
If you like to read Liancheng articles from more than ten years ago, then this article is worth reading. The sweet and refreshing novel has cheats, and the narration is fast but also very long-winded. It has a certain logic, and the writing style isn't perfect but it's fairly smooth. In recent years, there have been some farming articles with running accounts, but they are not as good as this one. I personally like this kind of writing and will continue to read it. (I didn't read much, I just commented after the stars jumped out)
