He awoke in the darkness.
No golden finger, no System, no voice telling him what to do. Only a soul from the twenty-first century, and a forgotten wasteland.
He lived for a very long time. Long enough for his initial fear to turn to numbness, long enough for the word “home” to lose all meaning, long enough to become a King of Angel of the Mystery Pryer pathway: a King of Angel with no followers, no church, and no believers.
Then he heard that name: the Creator.
Those familiar phrases, that ancient story: the seven days of creation, Eden, the Great Flood. He knew they were traces only a “fellow countryman” could have left behind.
He walked toward the light.
The Creator said, “You’ve been watching me for a long time.”
He replied, “You allowed me to watch.”
Two lonely souls, in a dark universe, briefly acknowledged each other’s existence. No embrace, no vows, only the words, “I just remember a place I can never return to.”
Later, the light went out.
The Creator fell. The blade of Rose Redemption was stained with His blood. The Dragon of Wisdom, the Lord of Storms, and the White Saint, three Kings of Angel, carried out the betrayal that was destined to happen.
He did not stop them. Because the Creator had said, “Some things have to happen.”
“You must survive. Someone needs to remember.”
So he lived. He survived the upheavals of empire in the Fourth Epoch and the restoration of order in the Fifth Epoch. He is a legend of the Forsaken Land of the Gods, a tacit understanding shared by the Seven Gods, and someone the Tarot Club will never know exists.
He is a relic of the old era, a witness to history.
After reading it for a while, I have a suggestion for the author. The English name of the protagonist might as well be Rogal Dorn. They are all stubborn.
How should I put it? After reading it, my mind was empty. To be honest, the main plot actually feels quite small. The whole story is centered around I don't know. There is a faint feeling of death, but it is attractive. I can't describe this state. Maybe this is silence. It's actually been taken off the shelves
Intuitively speaking, this is a really good protagonist, well, how should I put it? It's a bit pitiful. I wanted to remember it from the beginning, but I also couldn't remember it and didn't know the concept of going home. But this is really a good book.
Except for the repetitive words, it's really great. The relationship between Zao and the protagonist is a fairy tale. It's so awesome. Whether Wulun is friendship or love, they are all delicious! It's been a long time since I've seen first-person perspective and stream-of-consciousness writing. Looking at it now, I feel it's more delicate and emotional than third-person. It feels like I have interpreted the original work from a new perspective.
It is as quiet as a river flowing, but I think the observer may be moved. After all, "Lord of Mysteries" is essentially an ode to human beings, like 37 coming to reality, like the Tower of Babel collapsing, and like the Death Card changing everything.
Very gentle brushwork and plain narrative give people a touch of sadness and warmth
Nice. The language has a faint sense of death
My feelings after watching it: I don't know
It's quite interesting, but I don't know if the protagonist will actually take action in the future.
Although it's AI, I'm really curious about what's behind it, don't take it off the shelves!!!
