Transmigrating to Great Xia: I’ll Shape the World with Technology

The Great Xia Dynasty lies on the East Asian continent. Its territory is vast, yet it faces both internal strife and external threats. Central authority has weakened, regional warlords rule as they please, and land is heavily concentrated in the hands of a few, leaving the people displaced and destitute. Northern barbarians watch hungrily and repeatedly raid south, while overseas barbarians are stirring, and maritime trade is monopolized. Technology remains at the height of the feudal era. Handicrafts have a solid foundation, but agriculture, industry, and the military all face enormous bottlenecks. Currency consists mainly of copper coins and silver taels, making transactions extremely inefficient. Culture and thought have grown conservative, and reformers are few and far between.
