Late Tang: I Take a Cyberpunk Infrastructure Terminal into a World in Chaos
Synopsis
In 884 AD, the late Tang is mired in chaos. Fires of war rage everywhere, and the people are destitute.
Lin Mo, a cyber-military engineer from 2077, triggers a temporal shift while being hunted by the corporate powers. Carrying a half-damaged military-grade quantum infrastructure terminal, he crashes into this living hell.
Badly wounded, with the terminal running low on power and rebel forces closing in, he activates the last of its technological capabilities on the brink of death. He kills scattered enemy soldiers with an electromagnetic spike, gathers the surviving elderly and children from nearby villages, and finds a sliver of hope amid the chaos.
With no energy, he turns the land itself into a power plant;
With no equipment, he turns mountains and rivers into workshops;
With no foundation, he makes refugees his brothers and sisters.
He uses biological scans to map the terrain and treat injuries and illnesses;
Environmental modeling to build defenses and plan fertile fields;
Databases to improve farm tools and refine supplies;
And military engineering know-how to fortify strongholds and train a new army.
From fighting for survival against all odds to establishing a stronghold at Heishi, from carving out a small refuge to claiming territory of his own,
Lin Mo wields cyberpunk technology as his blade and infrastructure as his foundation.
In the late Tang, amid war between regional governors and famine-stricken fields,
he builds a utopia amid the chaos, step by step,
using the seeds of civilization from a thousand years in the future to ignite a wildfire that will reshape the land.
Technology is no tool for overpowering the past; it is only there to protect the people in his care.
Infrastructure is no means of conquest; all he seeks is peace for the realm.
Watch as he uses a single terminal to turn the tide of a world in turmoil and usher in a new age for generations to come.
