Su Xiaoyang has two secrets.
First, she is the only daughter of Mr. Su, chairman of Dingsheng Capital. She grew up attending business dinners with tycoons, graduated from Harvard Business School, and every word she says is worth hundreds of millions.
Second, no one at her company knows any of this.
Because Mr. Su gave her a strict ultimatum: start at the very bottom and work her way up from scratch. If she can’t do it, she can come home and get matched with a suitable husband while inheriting the family business.
So Su Xiaoyang puts on black-rimmed glasses, a fast-fashion suit, and carries a thermos covered with a “Heaven rewards the diligent” sticker as she joins her own company as an ordinary fresh graduate.
Her goal is simple: play dumb, keep a low profile, and survive her probationary period.
But reality clearly has other plans.
On her first day, she mistakes the executive elevator for the freight elevator and calls the legendary “Icy-Faced Yama,” Gu Shenhan, “Sir.”
At her first team meeting, the “Iron Lady,” Shen Bing, sets her sights on her. Her eyes are like two scalpels, as if she can’t wait to dissect Su Xiaoyang from head to toe.
Then there’s a colleague named Zhao Mingyuan, who acts polite to her while secretly waiting to see her make a fool of herself.
Worst of all, her “client” keeps sending her messages now and then to remind her that the test is still underway.
Every day, Su Xiaoyang dances on the edge of a knife. She has to act like a clueless newbie, yet “accidentally” reveal a little of her ability at crucial moments.
She thinks she’s playing a grand game of chess.
But she has no idea that far more people are watching her from across the board than she can see.
Such an inspiring workplace story deserves a thumbs up👍
At first I thought it was a bit interesting, this girl has a lot of drama and content.
The language is fluent and the use of punctuation marks is basically accurate. Laughter. A rare masterpiece. Appreciate.
It looks good, the subject matter is very novel, I look forward to the exciting things to come.
