Cherish the Old Love, Love the Old Fate

Xu Miaoke once thought that a tiny physical imperfection would make her youth a time of ridicule and gloom. Then a boy named Li Xiangyang burst into her world. He was a notorious street racer, cocky and rebellious, yet he gave all his tenderness and possessiveness to her. Even if it meant making the whole world his enemy, he would always stand firmly behind her. But their souls were too alike, and his possessiveness too fierce, until they wounded each other. After they broke up, Li Xiangyang was imprisoned for fighting. Behind those high walls, he endured the long years with a pathologically vivid memory of her: her likes, her smallest expressions, even what time she left home, all engraved in his bones.

Years later, time and remorse had worn down the fierce, unruly boy, leaving an ordinary man who looked honest but was consumed by insecurity. When they met again, there was still a light in each other's eyes, yet an invisible force kept them firmly apart.

From brazen rebellion to silent insecurity, can the boy who once risked everything for her find the courage to take the hand of the girl he guarded through his entire youth once more?
