I’m a Daoist priest who makes a living through the Dao. Whenever a house is haunted, something strange happens in a graveyard, or someone encounters an evil spirit and loses their soul, they come to me.
I’ve seen resentful spirits sealed inside the walls of an old house for decades, subdued vicious corpses in a corpse-nurturing ground that had been dug up, broken blood-soaked evil formations passed down through generations in a village, and warned people who violated taboos and brought disaster upon themselves.
The ghosts in this world aren’t found only in desolate graveyards and wilderness.
They hide in the cracks of old house doors, in the ancient locust tree at the village entrance, in rules passed down by word of mouth, and in the darkest corners of people’s hearts.
And I’m the one who uncovers these strange events and subdues the evil spirits.
I personally am a fan of thrillers and suspense novels. The first few chapters alone are now five stars, and the sense of immersion is so strong. I didn't expect that the first few chapters would make my blood boil [facepalming], especially the ones that please the gods. Based on the progress I see now, I can give it five stars 👍
