High Martial: Upholding China's Cultural Heritage, Using Intangible Traditions to Guard the World!

This is an uplifting high-martial-arts story centered on nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage crafts and grounded in the evidence of officially compiled histories.

After a century of invasions from beyond the realm, China’s cultural heritage is on the brink of extinction. Intangible cultural heritage crafts have been smeared as F-rank waste meridians and low-class street tricks, while the traditions of the Spring Festival, Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival are gradually being forgotten.

At the Martial Soul Awakening Ceremony, Lin Yan, the son of a family of traditional craft inheritors, awakens a paper-cutting Martial Soul. His eligibility for the college entrance exam is revoked in front of everyone, and he endures ridicule and humiliation.

At the end of his rope, he activates the [Chinese Cultural Heritage Flamekeeper System], unlocking the millennia-old cultural power behind these traditional crafts!

Paper-cutting can summon the cultural legacy of protecting life. Seal engraving can safeguard the nation with imperial seals. Mortise-and-tenon joinery can build the Great Wall to defend the land. Movable-type printing can restore histories that have been tampered with!

He travels across the country, gathering inheritors of traditional crafts and awakening the memories of traditional festivals etched into the hearts of the Chinese people.

From city-level competitions to global martial arts tournaments, he wields intangible cultural heritage as his weapon, vindicating China’s cultural heritage and making its trampled national treasures resound throughout the Myriad Worlds.

The foreign gods want to sever the roots of Chinese civilization?

I, Lin Yan, will wield China’s cultural heritage and use traditional crafts to suppress the world!
