The Great Ming Is Doomed? I Hand Chongzhen Over to Zhu Yuanzhang

“He, are you telling me that our Great Ming will fall in a couple of centuries? Chongzhen is getting ready to hang himself from a tree?!” Zhu Yuanzhang clutched the imperial sword, eyes blazing with fury. The might of the Hongwu Emperor forced the assembled ministers to their knees.

“The eunuchs at the Eight Bureaus will open the gates, and the Grand Secretary will lead the surrender! The Jianzhou Jurchens are about to breach the pass and massacre the city!” He Yuan shouted. “Great Ancestor, I can bring people from your time over here for an hour every day. Lend me the Hongwu Iron Cavalry, and I’ll chop down those spineless cowards for you!”

“Lend you? Like hell!” Zhu Yuanzhang kicked over the dragon throne. “Where’s Xu Da? Muster three thousand Snow Dragon Riders and follow this lad to the future! I’d like to see who dares destroy our Great Ming!”

He Yuan had been cannon fodder, waiting to die on a battlefield at the end of the Ming dynasty. After awakening the ability to travel through a dual-world portal, he promptly returned to the Hongwu era and revealed everything. From then on, the rebels and Jianzhou Jurchens of the Chongzhen era faced the most terrifying technological mismatch imaginable!
