After his grandfather died, Lin Du took over his family's Duyin Shop.
There are only three rules left in the shop: no paper figurines will be sold at midnight, no money will be collected from the dead, and the incense in the temple must not be cut off. He originally thought it was just a superstition left by the older generation. Until the first seven nights, a paper sedan without a bearer stopped at the door of the shop.
Since then, paper figures have welcomed relatives, taken photos in wells, told bells in the underworld, and borrowed lives to extend their lives... Strange things have come one after another. Only then did Lin Du realize that the business his grandfather had guarded his entire life had never been a white-collar shop. But a door that cannot be opened.
What's even more frightening is that - that door seems to have been waiting for him to come back since many years ago.
