In 1967, the soul of an elite adjutant from later generations traveled into the body of Li Yulin, an educated youth who went to the countryside, and came to Lishugou in the Sanjiang Plain of Northeast China to join the team. He relied on modern military skills, knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and unexpected space treasures to survive in the difficult rural life, hunting wild animals, working on reclamation, and treating villagers. He also met mentors and friends such as Uncle Feng, and took in the orphan Li Zhongqiu.
