Falling into a Strawberry-Scented Romance

[Youthful school life + ensemble cast + unrequited love fulfilled + mutual devotion + F5]

Mayflies live from dawn to dusk. We are one in eight billion.

In a bookstore during the summer of her seventeenth year, Xu Yan met her one in eight billion.

_

Everyone knows that Chongcheng No. 1 High’s top student and campus heartthrob keeps people at arm’s length. He ignores everyone but his close friends and devotes himself entirely to studying. So why is he acting differently around this new transfer student?

“Yan Yan, it’s been so long.”

-

She’s struggling with English? He writes practice questions just for her and tutors her. Trouble at cram school? He brings the F5 squad to back her up and gather evidence...

Cold and distant? Doesn’t want anyone getting close? Not anymore.

-

But Xu Yan has always been a little slow on the uptake. She keeps mistaking the special way He Huaiyu treats her for the help of a good friend.

After going through so much together, Xu Yan slowly opens her heart, and her heart flutters again and again.

At last...

“He Huaiyu, how about we go to Peking University together? That way, we can still... be good friends, right?”

But the future they promised each other ends up with her saying, “He Huaiyu, I can’t find you.”

-

Everyone in the world knows Xu Yan likes He Huaiyu.

Only Xu Yan doesn’t know that He Huaiyu likes her.

-

Years later, “He Huaiyu, you know? If we’re caught in the same snow someday, then we’ll have shared white hair in this lifetime.”

“But Yan Yan, we’re already sharing the same snow today. We’re destined to grow old together.”
