- World view: A mysterious space called "The Abyss", where living people are forcibly drawn in to play a survival game. There are ancient Chinese-style weird houses, Western-style biochemical hospitals, and modern unlimited streaming dungeons. Death is real, but fear is what feeds monsters.
- Protagonist: Lin Mo, a criminal investigation profiler who suffers from "affective deficit disorder" (coldness). He cannot be scared to the point of collapse like ordinary people. This gives him absolutely calm observation in the horror copy, but it also makes it difficult for him to understand the logic of "ghosts".
- Core conflict: The system forces the release of tasks, and teammates continue to die. Lin Mo must solve the puzzle of the dungeon while fighting the system's conspiracy to obliterate his sanity and dig out the truth behind the "abyss".
- Special mechanism: Online IQ is not only an advantage, but also a necessity for survival. There are no mindless monster-killing upgrades in the dungeon, only the use of logical loopholes, physical rules and psychological games to survive.
