I blindly guessed that this novel would be a hit. It feels the same as The Legend of the Pearl of the Tang Dynasty, which was a hit last year or the year before that (I'm not talking about the plot, but it just gave me the feeling that it's a bit similar and very high-level).
This book is one of the best martial arts novels I have read in the past few years. I read it right away. The structure is compact, the plot is not procrastinating, and the conception is rigorous. It is a rare and good book.
The first part is good, but the second part is not good.
It feels a bit like watching Heroes before. There aren't many good martial arts like this anymore.
After reading a few chapters, the author's writing style is very sophisticated and very readable. It is even enjoyable to listen to the book.
