Coercion, dream-obsessed top, villainous bottom, control, mind control, personality reshaping, top with mental illness
A warning, dearest readers: this is a dark, twisted story. Whenever the top thinks he can’t control the bottom, he goes completely off the rails and forces his love on him in every way.
“Qingyan, I love you.”
In 2056, gravely ill and confined to his bed, Gao Zhi used the last of his strength to write those five words on a piece of paper, then died.
Zheng Qingyan lay across Gao Zhi’s still-warm body without a word.
1996.
Fourteen-year-old Gao Zhi was diagnosed with a mental illness and sent abroad for treatment by Gao Yanming. Word of him disappeared, and Gao Zhi knew as well as anyone that his father might have given up on him.
When sixteen-year-old Gao Zhi was ready to end his life, he happened to spot a little boy wandering down a corridor on the surveillance footage. After asking around, Gao Zhi learned that the boy was Zheng Qingyan, the scapegoat his father had found for him.
“He’s so little. He’s only eight.”
His father hadn’t given up on him after all! There was still hope!
Over the next seven years, Gao Zhi eased his loneliness and homesickness by secretly watching Zheng Qingyan, and began cooperating with his treatment.
Ten years of treatment came to an end.
At twenty-four, Gao Zhi used his birthday as an excuse to ask Gao Yanming for permission to return to China. As soon as Gao Yanming agreed, he set off for home, while his father prepared a lavish banquet to celebrate his birthday.
Everyone else watched Gao Zhi’s mental state, but his eyes stayed fixed on Zheng Qingyan. When Zheng Qingyan got drunk and was helped back to his room, Gao Zhi left the banquet before it was over and followed him...
And so the story begins.
