The blood moon appeared twice, and people across the globe awakened supernatural abilities.
Everyone thought it was a gift from a new age. Only Chen Pingping knew it was a curse.
The stronger their abilities, the more completely people lost their humanity, until they all became monsters.
But on the brink of death, Chen Pingping bound himself to a Landlord System that could copy supernatural abilities.
Collect rent to extend his life; copy skills from those who fall behind on rent. He became the only person able to survive the curse.
He copied the earth ability of a simple, honest young man.
He took the ice ability of a proud young woman.
He collected the spatial ability of a mysterious female tenant.
By the time he copied his hundredth ability, his humanity was almost completely gone.
Chen Pingping looked at the list of abilities in his hands and smiled.
"Since you have all gone mad, I'll take the throne of the gods."
The writing is fine, but at first glance it looks like it was purely hand-written.
