On March 19, the seventeenth year of Chongzhen, the city of Beijing was destroyed. The last emperor of the Ming Dynasty climbed to Meishan Mountain and ended his life on a crooked neck tree. His last words were to his younger brother: "My brother should be Yao and Shun."
Three hundred years later, Wang Xiaoshan, a young man from Yunnan, was sitting on the sofa watching "Lectures of Hundreds of Schools" and remarked: "Chongzhen was so miserable. If I were the emperor, any dynasty would be able to figure it out."
As soon as he finished speaking, the world was spinning.
When he woke up, the white silk around his neck hurt. He died in the body of a newly hanged emperor, under the tree in March.
In the darkness, he saw a man in white. The man also had a purple-black strangulation mark on his neck. He tilted his head and looked at him: "Did you just say that you want to be Yao and Shun for me?"
Wang Xiaoshan opened his mouth: "I was just bragging."
The man smiled.
"Okay. Then I want to see what tricks you can do."
What Wang Xiaoshan didn't know was that that person was not Chongzhen.
It begins with Chongzhen, but does not end with Chongzhen. He would die again and again, return to that tree again and again, and choose the next emperor again and again. He wanted to block Zhu Di's knife for Zhu Yunwen, defend the city of Beijing for Zhu Qi, take care of himself for Zhu Hou, open his eyes for Zhu Yijun, put down the saw for Zhu Youxiao, and survive for Zhu Youjian.
Every time, he had to face the same question: Are you here to be emperor, or are you here to be Yao and Shun?

Although the length is short, it is quite creative. A modern man is self-righteous and thinks that time travel can change history. He has been the emperor of the Ming Dynasty for several generations.
I accidentally clicked on a book and was fascinated by it!
The author's cultural background, the plot and smoothness, and the strong sense of substitution
The plot has ups and downs, the characters are delicately drawn, and it's a great book
The author writes well and the story is fascinating
