Chasing the Wind and Shadow: A Sonnet of Mad Love

A mischievous little cat demon vs. a fugitive on the run Not a strong female lead + healing and redemption + sweet romance + lighthearted everyday life + happy ending OOC warning!!! (Falling for a broken man is an inescapable fate.) Heaven took pity on this little white cat, who was born deaf. Tang Li had a smooth journey from start to finish. After latching onto the tabby cat A Yu, she suffered very little before transforming into human form. She even used the wages she earned by acting cute at the cat cafe with a bunch of cats who hadn’t yet gained intelligence to buy the first property of her cat life. But then, in a moment of carelessness, someone picked up the empathic cat charm that Tang Li always carried with her. Xi Wang stares at the plush charm in his hand, soft and fluffy, with a faint cat smell. His fingertip twitches. “Purr…” Tang Li instinctively lifts her chin, and a small, contented purr escapes her throat. Realizing something is wrong, she immediately widens her eyes and glares at the culprit, full of accusation. A blush spreads from the girl’s pale, round cheeks to the tips of her ears. “Chen Xiwang!” She calls him by his full name, with a boldness that borders on disrespect. The man is briefly taken aback, then a low laugh suddenly spills from his chest. Perhaps because she rarely sees him smile, the indignation and embarrassment in Tang Li’s heart quickly fade away, though her face grows even redder. Xiwang curls a finger and lightly taps the forehead of the little airhead in front of him, saying something. Even without her cochlear implant, she understands his lips “Want it? Come get it yourself.” Tang Li puffs out her cheeks, her round eyes involuntarily darting toward the man’s lean, firm waist and abdomen exposed to the air. Picking on a cat, tempting a cat… Bad guy!!
