The modern city of Jinhai is bustling and bustling on the surface, but secretly lurks countless evil spirits born of obsessions, resentments, and folk taboos. Ordinary people cannot detect them. The evil spirits cling to the corners of the city, absorb the yang energy and emotions of living people, and create bizarre accidents and mental disorders.
There are ten major folk Shinto ways in the world. They evolved from traditional market skills and are the only force to fight evil spirits. The Yin Yang Drum Shinto ranks fifth. It uses drums as a medium and music as a guide. It relies on the resonance of the audience to calm evil spirits and repose the soul. It has the same origin as the Play Shinto, Suona Shinto and Paper-cut Shinto. They are all folk skills that inherit the Shinto. They do not rely on brute force and use "sound" to destroy evil spirits.
