[Romance + school life + comedy + cross-dressing + otokonoko + faux yuri + multiple heroines]
Haruka Toba is a prodigious young onmyoji from the Toba family, a prestigious Japanese onmyoji clan. It wasn't until he set foot in London that he discovered he was the last person in his family to know that St. Gregory's Academy, the school he was supposed to attend, was an all-girls aristocratic magic academy.
Dressed in a skirt, wearing light makeup, and sporting shoulder-length hair, sixteen-year-old Haruka is forced to pass himself off as the perfect Yamato Nadeshiko. Alongside his personal maid, Rin Asagiri, he infiltrates this hidden world full of secrets. The refined and strict daughter of a count, Eleonora; the passionate and straightforward combat specialist, Anna; the junior student Anko, who suffers from an extreme case of chuunibyou; and the fiery yuri enthusiast Ai Takahashi: girls with wildly different personalities keep barging into his life. With every seemingly casual touch and every unavoidable moment of close contact, he must desperately guard a secret that, if exposed, would spell total ruin.
This is the story of a boy forced to disguise himself as a girl at an academy steeped in magic and girlish charm. As he dodges the threat of having his identity exposed, he finds himself caught up in a romantic comedy with girls of all kinds. As his disguise gradually slips and hearts that should have stayed apart draw ever closer, where will this absurd yet sweet life as an exchange student lead?
I'd like to add a book review. It's a pretty good book, and the description of emotions is quite delicate. But the author may have gotten excited just writing it.
