(Decisive and ruthless + not a goody-two-shoes + a powerful cultivation system + not invincible + one heroine + no angst + no hand-holding)
The cosmos lies in primordial chaos, and the gods sigh.
Spiritual qi revival transforms the world.
Blue Star falls silent. The world grows ten times larger, and ninety-nine percent of humanity turns into zombies.
An ordinary yet extraordinary boy, Fu Nantian, awakens from the silence and unexpectedly gains an ability: the Heart of the Fire God.
Beginning at the very bottom, the boy starts out cold-blooded. After seeing the true nature of humanity, he embarks on an endless journey to stand tall between heaven and earth and bear the calamity for all living beings. To become a god on this path is harder than ascending to heaven. The final of ninety million tribulations is to become the god of humanity.
He fights his way to the end of the world and saves the dawn of humankind.
At last, facing the gods, Fu Nantian smiles scornfully.
"You use all living beings as pieces in a game, laying out the apocalypse. All you want is that trifling Key of the Dao."
With a wave of his hand, Fu Nantian reveals the key to the Great Dao.
"Take it. Let's see if you can get your hands on it."
