King of the Gods

I was an abandoned baby found by the riverside. After fifteen years of Taoist cultivation, I mastered spirit-summoning arts and feng shui secrets. But after the soul of a Black Tortoise entered my body, my skin began turning green all over. If this continues, I’ll become a demon.

To stay alive, I descend the mountain and enter the world. I brave Mingji Temple, break the evil sacrifice at Peach Manor, and enter the Blackwater Ghost Prison. Along the way, I stumble upon the secrets of the court’s hardliners, fall victim to a cold parasite and a soul-binding restriction, and get manipulated like a pawn.

Dark currents surge in the Age of Declining Dharma, the Ghost Prison Sect is about to unleash chaos, and the game between the court and the martial world is already underway.

All I want is to break the shackles on my body first. Then, with my spirit-summoning arts, I’ll suppress evil, quell the chaos, and become the only variable in this troubled age.
