Officer, You've Got to Be Kidding! Who Brought the Dog Through?

A Dog and I Transmigrate into the Period Novel I Wrote My name is Lin Shuang, an utterly ordinary web novelist. I transmigrated into a book, into the 1970s period novel I wrote myself. Other people transmigrate into a book with the standard trio: a pocket dimension, a spirit spring, and a golden finger. Me? I got a French bulldog that looks like a pig, a stomach that’s starving to death, and a plot that goes off the rails as soon as I start writing. The good news: I based the male lead on my idol. He’s 183.6 centimeters tall, broad-shouldered and slim-waisted, devoted and loyal. The bad news: I think my dog has caught his eye. And the even, even worse news... I have only one question now: Why did I make things so desperately poor from the start when I wrote this stupid book?
