I Sustain the Nation's Fate Through Farming

[Ancient farming, dynastic power struggles] Su Chen, a modern agricultural sciences PhD, transmigrates into the body of a poor farmer whose family has nothing and who is bullied by his clan. He only wants to put his knowledge and the spiritual spring space he accidentally unlocks to use, grow some crops, make a little money, and live in peace.

But who could have guessed that the spiritual spring is connected to the fate of the dynasty? The crops it produces can bring the dead back to life and restore flesh to bare bones, and they can even revive a kingdom in decline!

Before long, all kinds of factions take notice. The seemingly innocent girl next door is actually the reigning emperor’s eldest princess, sent to investigate him. The gentry, all talk of benevolence and morality, want to seize his divine farming techniques for themselves. At court, the crown prince and the regional princes will stop at nothing to bring him into their camps.

Worse still, deep within the spiritual spring space, the remnant soul of an ancient farming god slowly awakens and gives him an ultimatum: accept the inheritance and shoulder the burden of the dynasty’s rise and fall, or be possessed by me and become a sacrifice!

Su Chen stands in the barren fields, gazing out at a world battered by storms, and slowly clenches his fists.

“I only wanted to become a wealthy landowner, but you all just had to force me to become the farming sage who saves the world!”
