In the eighth year of the Republic of China, Shenjia Town in western Hunan. Fourteen members of the "Shen Family Hall" of the Immortal Family died tragically overnight, with only the eldest daughter Shen Mo surviving. When she woke up, she was lying in a coffin, wearing a shroud and holding copper coins in her mouth. Her tombstone was erected on her grave - "The tomb of Shen Men's memory, the person who erected the monument: The whole family of Shen."
The townspeople identified her as the murderer. But she doesn't remember killing people, burying corpses, or whose blood is in the fingernails. She only remembered three things: her grandfather said before he died, "Mo'er, it's not your fault"; an old Taoist stopped her and said, "There is something on you and it has been following you for three years"; and - she saw her reflection in the bronze mirror and smiled, but she did not smile.
To prove his innocence, Shen Mo was forced to accept the "underworld trial": for seven consecutive nights, his soul entered Guanghe Tower and faced every blood debt incurred by three generations of the Shen family while collecting accounts from the underworld. On the first night, the mother's face split open and a baby with thirteen faces crawled out; on the second night, her father's head asked her "What does your fiancé Gu Yuan do?"; On the third night, Gu Yuan himself broke into the theater, but Shen Mo saw her own reflection smiling in his eyes - that thing lived in her body.
It's called Yin Chai. It has been guarding the gate for three thousand years and has forgotten its own name. Shen Mo called it A Shou. It said: "After three thousand years, someone finally called my name. That's enough."
But it's not the only thing behind the door. There is something that has been pushed for three thousand years, waited for three thousand years, has no name, and has no home.
The door is not closed yet, and no one has left yet. Shen Mo had one more strand of white hair, but she smiled. Because someone is waiting for her to come home.
