Tech for Elder Care? No, I’m Building a Nuclear Bomb in the Cultivation World

[Nontraditional cultivation + Transmigration + No romance + Grandparent-grandchild bond + Eighty-year-old millennial grandma + Technological superiority + Strong female lead]

Liu Zihan, an eighty-year-old retiree from the year 2080, was born in the year 2000. She should have been dancing in the metaverse, but instead she transmigrates to the cultivation world with her all-purpose retirement robot, Chicken Wing.

Liu Zihan: “Don’t panic. Chicken Wing can chat, cook, and give massages. What difference does it make where I retire?”

That is, until she finds a grimy little girl named A Shi by the roadside.

To get her granddaughter into an immortal sect, Liu Zihan is forced back to work.

But at the sect’s admissions office

The little carrot, A Shi, is found to have an exceptional spiritual root, stunning everyone.

Eighty-year-old Liu Zihan catches up, and the sect elder asks with a tremble, “I-is this old ancestor here to test her spiritual roots too?”

Liu Zihan: “No, I’m here to pay the tuition…”

From then on, the cultivation world gains an eccentric new duo.

While others fly on swords, Liu Zihan races around in an antigravity wheelchair;

While others blow up their furnaces refining pills, Liu Zihan’s robot Chicken Wing whips out a molecular gastronomy machine;

While others chant spells in battle, Liu Zihan says, “Chicken Wing, activate ‘Disturb the Neighbors with Square Dancing’ mode! Play the most dazzling folk song and knock them out!”

A Shi: “Grandma, are we going to become the strongest cultivators?”

Liu Zihan: “Good girl, Grandma just wants to get you a permanent government job, then retire and collect a spiritual-stone pension!”
