My Body Is Slowly Becoming That of an Ancient God

I was tainted by the Abyss, and my body is irreversibly transforming into that of an Old God.

My bones twist, strange patterns spread, and everything in my field of vision is an indescribable horror.

Anyone who looks at me loses their sanity and goes mad.

Every time I use my powers, I lose another piece of my humanity forever.

In the eyes of the world, I am a monster, an outcast to be feared and shunned.

Then the evil gods descended, the rules collapsed, and all things fell into ruin.

Humanity cried out in despair as civilization was reduced to ashes.

At last, they understood:

Only a monster can slay an even greater monster.

Only I can hold up a world on the brink of destruction.

So the people who once spurned me fell to their knees and begged:

“Please, don’t give up your power. Stay alive!”

Standing on the edge between humanity and divinity, I raised my hand with a cold laugh.

“If I become a demon, no monster will remain in the world.

If I become a god, all gods will bow before me.”

From this day on, I will use my inhuman body to suppress every supernatural horror in the world!
