The Martial Stele

In primordial times, the Heavenly Dao of the Xuanhuang Realm was first born, giving life to all things. The Heavenly Dao was no vague, intangible force, but a physical entity. At its core was a “Heavenly Dao Stele,” which governed the laws of the world.

Thirty thousand years ago, extraterrestrial demons invaded the Xuanhuang Realm. They came from the chaotic void beyond the Heavenly Dao, beings that “do not exist within the Heavenly Dao.” The Heavenly Dao fought them, but in the end, it shattered. The “Heavenly Dao Stele” broke into thirty-six fragments, scattered across the mortal world.

Though the Heavenly Dao was shattered, its will did not perish. It waits for someone with a sufficiently powerful martial will to gather the fragments and restore it.
