After transmigrating to Skyrim, I somehow took the real Dragonborn for my personal bodyguard!
As a martial arts instructor back in the real world, Luo Lin took a tumble straight into war-torn Skyrim.
When he woke up in the prisoner cart at Helgen, all he could think was, "A transmigrator has to be the chosen one."
He awkwardly tried shouting a Dragon Shout at Alduin and nearly got roasted by dragonfire. That was when he realized:
The hulking Nord named Joseph riding in the same cart was the real Dragonborn!
At the chopping block, that big guy hadn't awakened even a trace of the Voice. He saved my life through sheer brute force.
So what if I'm not the Dragonborn? The world is vast, but I'm the one who matters most!
Joseph followed the Dragonborn's main quest, learned the Voice from the Greybeards, fought dragons head-on, and eventually took down Alduin.
As for me, Luo Lin, I was born with maxed-out magical talent and secretly chosen by the gods for special treatment.
Sorry, I care about money, not people.
If you don't give me enough benefits, even Jesus can't make me stay. That's what I said!
I passed Meridia's trial and got Dawnbreaker, braved Mara's test and earned an amulet, then quietly awakened as a hidden demigod.
My strategy was to get rich without making a fuss, and make it to the top of Skyrim on my own merits:
I took control of all four major guilds.
I also ventured deep into Blackreach to explore Dwemer ruins, ripped apart mechanical constructs, and uncovered the secret behind the disappearance of the Dwarven civilization.
Dragons running rampant, civil war raging, Skyrim a complete mess?
I used my martial arts to grapple enemies at close quarters, manipulated things behind the scenes with Illusion magic, and quietly cleared the field with powerful artifacts.
I handled crises with humor and secretly protected Skyrim with my strength. The key was keeping a low profile.
At the final battle in Sovngarde's Hall of Valor, Alduin's roar shook the heavens.
Ascension to godhood was just around the corner!
Vampires? Miraak?
Pathetic little rookies. How laughable.
This adventure through Skyrim was nothing but fun and games!
I feel that the portrayal of the protagonist is a bit harsh. As a time traveler, I am a bit too naive. Even if I don't know the specifics, I should at least know the general direction of the terrain and the general direction of the plot. As a result, I did not try to verify the deviation from the game. I did not try to get some props that can be obtained in the Novice Village. The use of magic was also a bit too speculative for me, but there was no supplement in the plot to explain why it could be done. In fact, it was strange to try to use the dragon roar at the beginning. According to the setting, the dragon roar needs to absorb the dragon soul after killing the dragon, otherwise it would not be used even if it is known (the above problems make the identity of the time traveler even less reasonable than the local people). The subsequent reliance on the second male lead Joseph seems childish in comparison. I don't know whether he wants to portray a loving wife or a father and son.
Most of the details of the plot are normal, and some of the plots are wrong, but fanfiction is a good idea. I once wanted to write an Elder Scrolls novel, until I got an arrow in my knee.
