Before his rebirth, Shen Du thought Jiang Youmou was a madman. She installed a location in his cell phone, installed surveillance in his apartment, and chopped up the phone numbers of all his female friends. He hated her to the core, cursed her with the most vicious words, and insulted her with the coldest eyes. She just smiled, sickly and paranoid: "Shen Du, you can't escape. Wherever you go, I will find you back."
Later a fire burned the entire building. The fire escape was blocked and Shen Du was trapped on the window sill on the thirteenth floor. As the smoke filled his lungs, he heard the sound of broken glass - Jiang Youmou jumped from the rooftop of the next building, breaking three ribs, and crawled through the flames, protecting him under her body.
"Look," she smiled, her face covered with blood, and put the last oxygen mask on his face, "I said, I will follow you wherever you go."
Shen Du survived the fire. The ginger mushroom is dead.
When he opened his eyes again, he returned to the night when Jiang Youmou tore his life circle into pieces for the first time when he was twenty-two years old.
This time, Shen Du didn't slam the door and leave. He stood among the scraps of paper on the floor, looking at the girl quietly peeling an apple on the sofa, and suddenly smiled.
Jiang Youmou's hand holding the knife paused. She raised her eyes, and for the first time a trace of confusion flashed through her eyes, which were always as calm as dead water.
"A'Du," she said softly, the tip of the knife pressed against the apple peel, "won't you run away?"
Shen Du walked towards her, knelt down and held her cold fingers stained with juice.
"I won't run away anymore," he said, "I'll look for you this time."
