Shen Yu, a 25-year-old overworked office drone, dies from working overtime and transmigrates into an old-school, melodramatic angst novel as the vicious supporting female character, Shen Zhaoning.
The original Shen Zhaoning was the tyrant Xiao Yan's stand-in for his beloved, and he caught her red-handed after she drugged the heroine.
She arrives right in the middle of a bloodbath: the tyrant has her by the throat and asks, "How do you want to die?"
Shen Zhaoning: Wait, I have a [Reverse Favorability System]? The more the tyrant hates me, the more points I earn? Then I won't hold back!
"Your Majesty, there's eye gunk in the corner of your eye."
"Your Majesty, did you get that dragon robe for 9.9 yuan with free shipping?"
"Your Majesty, your tyrant persona is so tacky. You should try a different career path."
System: Tyrant's favorability -50 -> -30 -> +20 -> +100???
Shen Zhaoning: System, have you caught a virus or something?
Tyrant Xiao Yan grabs her chin and sneers, "Interesting. Go on, insult me again."
Later...
The entire harem knows the tyrant has been spoiling that troublemaking Lady Su rotten.
"She called His Majesty a dog emperor and got promoted to Consort as punishment?"
"She burned down the Imperial Study and was punished with ten thousand taels of gold?"
"She slapped His Majesty and was punished by being made Empress???"
Shen Zhaoning: If I say I was only trying to farm points, would you believe me?
Xiao Yan: The more outrageously my Empress behaves, the more I love her.
