Four Heroes and Ten Dragons Stir Up Shengjing

During the Kangxi era, the third imperial uncle, Suo Hong, used his royal connections to recruit followers and plot rebellion in Shengjing, deceiving the court above and oppressing the people below.

Emperor Kangxi went incognito with his close attendants. The mother and son of the Lan family accused Suo Hong of murder and abducting women. Kangxi ordered Lan Jinsheng to carry a secret edict to the capital. After enduring countless hardships, Lan Jinsheng reached the capital and met the upright official Shi Gong. Shi Gong used a funeral ruse to capture Grand Tutor Suo Ai, but the bandits then kidnapped Shi Gong. Huang Tianba, Zhao Bi, and the others defeated the evil monk Pujie at Jin Gu Temple and rescued Shi Gong. Leading soldiers and heroes young and old, Shi Gong headed to Guandong to meet the emperor, but they were blocked along the way and learned that the emperor was trapped in the mansion of his maternal uncle. The heroes attacked Bagua Mountain and defeated Jinbei Gui Haijianchao. At last, the Four Heroes and Ten Dragons stirred up Shengjing, defeated Deng Yunfei, who could hold up the sky with both hands, captured Suo Hong alive, and rescued Emperor Kangxi. They returned to court in triumph.
