The Desert Island Empire

Highly recommended, this is a hard-core yet delicate novel on desert island survival infrastructure. It takes the desperate situation of Bermuda as a starting point and writes about the reality and passion of building a home from scratch. The plot has a tight rhythm, the details of life are solid, and the teamwork is warm and not bloody. The male protagonist is calm and reliable, the female protagonist has grown up brilliantly, and the group portraits are vivid and three-dimensional. The suspense builds up layer by layer, the strange island hides prehistoric secrets, and it has both a sense of infrastructure and emotional warmth. It is a rare and sincere work in the desert island survival genre.
